It’s hard to describe scents and many of us do it by comparing them to something. It could be a flower, a fruit, but sometimes a particular scent can remind us of a place, a personality or even a situation.
I’ve always found it difficult to define a scent, and when asked, I usually say what it reminds me of. That’s why when I was invited to be a part of this amazing project, I was more than happy. A few artists were asked to create illustrations for soy candle labels with scents inspired by different things. The line assigned to me was inspired by places. What an amazing idea! The Atacama Desert or Mount Etna are just a few of them. All the illustrations were created in Photoshop, and I must add, I really enjoyed the whole process!
